Every batch is constantly monitored at every stage of production and tested intensively to ensure consistent quality.

Boards are tested for their Internal Bond Strength and Screwholding Ability. Other tests carried out include Modulus of Elasticity and Rupture, Moisture Content, Water Soak and Thickness Swelling, Formaldehyde Emission and Grit Content.

Additionally, the fiber quality resin mix, mat moisture press heating and press pressure profile are closely monitored to ensure adherence to specifications.

Excellence In Product Quality

GMDF has an annual capacity for 130,000 cubic metres. GMDF boards are highly versatile with thickness ranging from 2.5mm to 32mm and sizes from 600mm x 900mm minimum to 2440mm x 5600mm maximum.
They are sanded to minimum grit finishing of 180.

The stringent quality control throughout the production process ensures the consistent quality of GMDF's boards.

MDF has the homogenous structure to be routed, sawed, profiled and moulded very easily. Its strong, smooth even surface is ideal for further finishing work such as lacquering, screen printing, spray painting, staining, veneering, laminating with natural veneer, PVC and paper overlay. The freshness of the rubberwood used ensures that MDF made is always uniform in colour.
